ArchiCO Engineering Company has been announced as the winner of a tender funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the project “Reconstruction of Water Systems in Amudarya District” in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Several international and local companies participated in the tender, including China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, China National Aero Technology International Engineering Corporation, Hisorakgidro Qurilish LLC, JV Rakurs Service LLC, Esco Group, Stecol Corporation, and Yangi Avlod Qurilish. The Azerbaijani company ArchiCO Engineering Company was declared the winner. Within the framework of the project, the central city of Mangit and 18 surrounding settlements in the Amudarya district will be supplied with drinking water. The total length of the main and distribution pipelines to be constructed will reach 530 kilometers. According to initial estimates, more than 12,000 subscribers will be provided with water. Additionally, the project includes the construction of water distribution points, reservoirs, pumping stations, other auxiliary facilities, and the renovation of the electrical infrastructure in the project area. The newly built water network will be equipped with an automated “SCADA” control system. A new administrative building, garage, workshop, and other facilities will also be constructed for the Amudarya District Water Supply Authority. The total cost of the project, financed by the Asian Development Bank, amounts to29.3 million. Construction works have already commenced. ArchiCO Engineering Company also has extensive experience in the construction of water and sewage infrastructure in Azerbaijan. The company has successfully implemented projects for the reconstruction of water and sewerage systems in the cities of Shamakhi, Agdash, Gabala, Samukh, and various settlements in the Absheron region. Building on this experience, ArchiCO plans to successfully carry out similar international projects.
